“UPPL’s Pramod Boro Blasts BPF’s Hagrama Mohilary: ‘He’ll Never Rule BTC Again’”

Kokrajhar, [Current Date]: In a fiery press conference, United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) President and Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) Chief Executive Member (CEM) Pramod Boro launched a scathing attack on former BTC chief and Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) leader Hagrama Mohilary, declaring that Mohilary would never return to power in BTC.

“Hagrama Mohilary can never become BTC Chief again—not now, not in the next 20 years,” Boro asserted. He accused Mohilary of corruption and mismanagement, stating, “We are cleansing the sins committed by Hagrama during his tenure.”

Boro highlighted improvements under his leadership, claiming, “Now, government job holders can sleep peacefully for 8 hours—something impossible before.” He also alleged that Mohilary “fled after snatching rights and opportunities from 3,500 people.”

Taking another dig, Boro criticized Mohilary’s absence from BTC Assembly sessions: “Hagrama has time for drinking and gossiping but skipped all sessions in four years.”

The sharp remarks signal escalating political tensions in Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) ahead of upcoming elections, with Boro positioning himself as a staunch opponent of Mohilary’s legacy.
