Assam CM Urges Protest-Free Environment Ahead of Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has appealed to agitators to refrain from protests ahead of the upcoming Advantage Assam 2.0 summit, emphasizing the need for a peaceful and investment-friendly environment. The summit, scheduled for February 24-25, aims to project Assam as a peaceful, agitation-free, and investment-ready state poised for transformative growth .

CM Sarma stressed that a peaceful environment is crucial for attracting investments, saying, “A summit alone doesn’t bring change—only the right environment does.” He also highlighted that the event will provide a platform for investors to analyze the state’s potential.

The Advantage Assam 2.0 summit is expected to be a key platform to attract investments and position the state as a major economic hub in the region. The event will feature seminars, cultural showcases, and diplomatic meetings, with prominent leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, attending the summit .

CM Sarma’s appeal comes as the state prepares to showcase its investment potential to domestic and international investors. With the summit just around the corner, the Assam government is leaving no stone unturned to ensure a successful event.
