Vice President C P Radhakrishnan Arrives in Assam for Two-Day Official Visit
Guwahati, September 6 – Vice President C P Radhakrishnan is scheduled to arrive in Assam on Sunday for a significant two-day official visit. He will land at Guwahati airport around 10 am and participate in multiple high-profile programmes across the state.
On the first day of his Assam visit, C P Radhakrishnan will attend the golden jubilee celebrations of Geetanagar College at Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra. Later, he will grace the convocation ceremony of Srimanta Sankardeva University of Health Sciences at Jyoti-Bishnu Antorjalik Kala Mandir.
On Monday morning, the Vice President will visit the historic Kamakhya temple to pay obeisance. He will then attend a civic reception and lay the foundation for various developmental projects during a special programme at Gauhati University Convention Centre. Officials have not yet shared the detailed list of projects.
After completing his engagements in Assam, C P Radhakrishnan is scheduled to proceed to Meghalaya from Guwahati on Monday.
The two-day Assam visit of Vice President C P Radhakrishnan highlights the Centre’s continued focus on education, healthcare and infrastructure development in the Northeast. Local officials and educational institutions are fully prepared to host the high-profile programmes.
