Assam HSLC 2025 Results: ASSEB’s Transparent & Timely Evaluation Sets New Benchmark
Guwahati, April 11, 2025: The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) announced the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) 2025 results in a record 37 days, marking a historic milestone in the state’s education reforms. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma praised the timely, transparent, and transformative evaluation process, calling it a “bold departure” from previous practices under SEBA.
Key Highlights of Assam HSLC 2025 Results:
✅ Swift & Transparent Evaluation – Results declared in just 37 days after exams (Feb 15-Mar 3).
✅ Concept-Based Learning – Shift from rote learning to knowledge-based assessment, with a 63.98% overall pass rate.
✅ Inclusive Growth – ST (Plains) students outperformed with 71.32% pass rate; Tea Tribe students crossed 50% for the first time (51.89%).
✅ Top Performers – Amishi Saikia (Jorhat) tops with 98.50%, showcasing rising academic standards.
CM Sarma emphasized that the reforms reflect Assam’s commitment to equitable and quality education. “These results prove that our policies are empowering marginalized communities while raising academic excellence,” he stated.
