Northeast CMs Shine in Popularity Survey

Chief Ministers from the Northeast region have topped the charts in India Today’s Mood of the Nation survey, with four CMs securing top spots in the ‘most popular chief ministers’ category. Sikkim CM Prem Singh Tamang led the pack with 62.1% of respondents expressing satisfaction, followed closely by Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma with 55.4% .

Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu and Tripura CM Manik Saha also featured in the list, with 45.8% and 41.7% of respondents expressing satisfaction, respectively. The survey highlights the popularity and satisfaction levels of chief ministers across different states, with respondents evaluating the performance of their own CM.
