Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma Discusses Industrial Collaboration with Japan Minister

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma met with Japan’s State Minister of Justice, Komura Masahiro, to discuss the state government’s plan to establish an industrial park specifically aimed at attracting Japanese companies. The meeting focused on enhancing the bilateral relationship between India and Japan, emphasizing shared values and cultural ties .

The proposed industrial park aims to promote economic growth and create a conducive environment for international business collaborations. CM Sarma highlighted the potential of Assam’s talented youth in meeting the growing demand for skilled workforce in Japan.

“We also spoke at length about how talented youths from Assam can help bridge the demand for skilled workforce in Japan, through ongoing programs between our countries,” CM Sarma stated.

The discussion is part of CM Sarma’s Japan visit, which focuses on industrial collaboration and strengthening ties between the two nations.
