Four suspected close aides of Punjab’s pro-Khalistani leader Amritpal Singh have been brought to Assam’s Dibrugarh in a special aircraft on Sunday morning. The Punjab Police led by SP Tejbir Singh Hundal brought the four individuals to Assam, where they were taken to Jorhat before being transported to Dibrugarh.
While the names of the four individuals were not immediately disclosed, they were reportedly kept inside the Dibrugarh Central Jail. The deputy commissioner of Dibrugarh district confirmed that the four were initially arrested in Punjab before being brought to Assam, but no further information has been released.
