A shocking incident has come to light in Meerut, where a woman from Bugrasi, Bulandshahr district, has accused six doctors of KMC Hospital and Research Center of removing and selling her kidney. The Narsena police have filed an FIR against the doctors and other employees on the orders of a court.
According to the FIR, the woman claimed that she was admitted to KMC Hospital in 2017, where Dr. Sunil Gupta recommended surgery. However, she alleged that during the procedure, her kidney was removed and sold by the doctors. The woman further claimed that when she complained about the incident, the doctors beat her up and snatched her documents.
The woman discovered that her left kidney had been removed through surgery when she got herself examined by another doctor on October 28, 2022. She has accused Dr. Sunil Gupta of human organ trafficking and making her limbless.
The incident has raised serious concerns about the ethics and practices of medical professionals in the country. The police are investigating the matter, and further action is expected to be taken against the accused doctors.
