Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma inaugurated an Rs. 8 crores 50 lakh rupees 3D planetarium in Nalbari on Tuesday.The foundation stone for Assam’s first 3D planetarium was laid in 2012. The chief minister will also go to Tamulpur to lay the groundwork for six projects.
CM Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote “Glad to inaugurate & lay foundation stones for 12 projects, including inauguration of Horticulture Research College, Sub-Regional Science Centre & Planetarium, foundation stone for integrated DC office complex, etc, worth ₹680 cr in Nalbari district.”
According to reports, the chief minister will lay the foundation stone for Tamulpur Medical College, as well as a bridge and several other projects worth Rs. 568 crores.Notably, 76 years after independence, a bridge will be built at the Kumarikata-Kouli connecting road at the Bhutan border in Tamulpur district.
