An FIR has been lodged against three accused individuals who allegedly raised the “Karbi Gobek” slogan during the violent incident in Kheroni, West Karbi Anglong. The complaint was filed at the Kheroni Police Station.
Notably, the FIR was submitted by the Hindi-speaking Students’ Organization, Bengali Society, and Indian Gorkha Federation against the three accused: Bikash Chauhan, Yuboraj Pathak, and Dhanu Barma.
Meanwhile, the organizations have stated that such remarks are never acceptable.
