He stated unequivocally, “The day we submit the chargesheet, I will take to the streets the very next day to demand justice. The final verdict on justice will come from the court.” The Chief Minister further added, “I am a Chief Minister, not a Chief Justice. Therefore, from the day after the Special Investigation Team (SIT) submits its report, I will join the public on the streets to fight for justice for Zubeen Garg.” Referring to the social media campaign #JusticeForZubeenGarg, he said, “I stand united with this movement. I, too, am with #JusticeForZubeenGarg.”
