Mithun Baruah from Ledo: At the end of 14 days on saturday evening hours the bodies of two other labourers, who went underground in the illegal coal mine in Tikak colliery west mining have been recovered. The bodies of John and Final who hails from Meghalaya have been recovered in a joint operation led by NDRF and SDRF team.
The incident took place on May 24 around midnight 12:30 am. Three labourers were trapped in an illegal mine at Tikak west mining colliery. The NDRF continued the effort and finally the operation of NDRF forces was successful.
It may be recalled that Margherita sub-divisional administration and Margherita Police had launched a massive search operation to recovered the three coal miners workers bodies who went underground in illegal underground mining in Tikak west mining colliery under Northeastern Coalfields Coal India ltd Margherita.
It may mention that the three trapped coal miners used to work for one notorious coal thief Ron Lungsang where after the incident Margherita police launched an massive operation and recovered Rs 3 crores cash amount and luxurious vehicles from his home situated at Tikak colliery but unfortunately Ron Lungsang fled from the home.
