Indian billionaire stock investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala known as “India’s Warren Buffett” has passed away at age 62, several leading Indian media outlets reported on Sunday. He was on dialysis for the past few months.
A trader, investor and entrepreneur, Jhunjhunwala, was known as the ‘Big Bull of Dalal Street’ for his successful investments in stock market. He managed his own portfolio as a partner in his asset management firm, Rare Enterprises.
Hailing from Rajasthan Jhunjhunwala was raised in Mumbai. His father worked as a Commissioner of Income Tax. He is survived by his wife and three children.
