The Assam government has announced the dates for Gunotsav 2023, which would be hosted in 33 districts over three days. On January 19, 20, and 21 in 13 districts (Barpeta, Golaghat, Karimganj, Hojai, Kamrup, Kokrajhar, Lakhimpur, Majuli, Morigaon, Sivasagar,
South Salmara-Mancachar, Tinsukia, and Udalguri), the first phase of Gunotsav will take place. On February 2, 3, and 4, 10 districts—Baksa, Chirang, Charaideo, Dhubri, Dima Hasao, Hailakandi, Jorhat, Kamrup (M), Sonitpur, and West Karbi Anglong will host the second Gunotsav.
In the ten districts of Biswanath, Bongaigaon, Darrang, Dhemaji, Dibrugarh, Goalpara, Karbi Anglong, Cachar, Nagaon, and Nalbari, the third phase of Gunotsav will begin on February 16, 17, and 18.
Gunotsav is a state government effort that primarily focuses on evaluating children’s learning results in order to discover learning gaps and afterwards devise corrective strategies for improvement.
