My Parents, sister, Friends and teachers have always guided and supported me. My father was in Tears when I appeared first time in a Live TV show – Good Morning J&K as a debut author. It’s a dream of every parent to see their child flourishing”, Irfan said.
Mohmod Irfan Shah has been fond of writing since childhood. He is an Author, Fictionist, Columnist, Poet, and Co-author of three anthologies. While talking about his recent book, he replied, “Surviving the Apocalyptic Society” is the result of some of my columns and the challenges I have encountered in my Life. Mental health and social issue poisons the human soul and cause it to spread among people like a disease. Similar to how numerous factors might cause sickness in the human soul, trauma, hatred, loneliness, neglect, or pain can make the human mind ill.
This book presents a sophisticated response to the question of what constitutes social problems and mental health deterioration, with thirteen different entries giving a range of perspectives on the central problem issues of our generation. It also includes the author’s personal experience and how he managed his stressful Life in today’s society. It also provides valuable suggestions for social issues and mental health. The topics cover areas of concern connected with physical and mental health, poverty, education, violence and crime, family and social relationships, etc. Every age group from different backgrounds will find this book helpful, whether casual readers or students. My experiences with literary Life, therapists, the world, the arts, family, and social media are all explored in this book. The author’s keen perceptions of the human experience and brilliant clarity give us a vision of what the current generation is going through, physically, virtually, verbally, socially, or mentally, he shared.
“I’m not a mental health professional or any other expert; I needed to ensure that what I wrote was responsible and helpful. It was not just to satisfy my need to make sure I got it right but also to make the mental health community feel included in the process”, said Irfan.
“Living in a stressful society and connecting with young people has made me more aware of the connection between mental health and an individual’s life satisfaction. As a result, I put a lot of effort into encouraging my readers and followers to take care of their mental health and what’s happening in their society. Our potential can be unleashed with a healthy mind to help us navigate the most difficult situations”, he added.
