Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) has announced the commencement of registration for the state-level Combined Entrance Examination (Assam CEE) 2023 from March 14. Candidates who are interested in pursuing BTech courses at engineering colleges in Assam can register for the entrance exam on the official website astu.ac.in.

The Assam CEE 2023 entrance exam will be conducted on May 28, Sunday, from 11 am to 2 pm. The exam will consist of a single paper comprising multiple-choice questions based on the Class 11 and 12 syllabi of the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC). The test will include three subjects – Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and each subject will carry 40 questions. The duration of the exam is three hours.

The marking scheme for the exam involves the award of four marks for each correct answer, while one mark will be deducted for every incorrect response. The results of the entrance exam will be declared within 10 days of the exam, and the admit cards will be released 15 days before the exam date.

Candidates will need to pay an application fee of Rs. 1000 to register for the Assam CEE 2023. For detailed information on the application process, interested candidates can refer to the official notification and information bulletin.

The Assam CEE 2023 is a highly competitive exam that is held for admission to the first year of BTech courses in engineering colleges in Assam. Candidates who qualify for the exam will be eligible for admission to various colleges affiliated with ASTU. Therefore, candidates must prepare well for the entrance exam and aim to score high to secure admission to their desired course and college.
